Paul Gustave Dore was a French illustrator and painter also known
for his engravings. He collaborated with the Russian publishing house "Wolf".

in Islamic commentaries.

The identity of Jacob's struggling adversary is a subject of debate, 
 being variously referred to as a figure in a dream, a prophetic 
vision, an angel, and even Jesus or God.
